Great Things From The Week

Campus Tours Complete - Every single student has heard from us, the rules around campus and Voice Level Expectations. 

Back To School Night was a success - Thank you all for your hard work, the families had a great time visiting all of your classrooms. 

Kona Ice, Big Brother Big Sister, PTA and Sanci had a booth and it was all a huge success


SAFTEY REMINDER

Students and staff are still catching COVID. If you are exposed you do not have to stay home unless you have systems, but you should test and take precaution.

We have masks, hand sanitizer and wipes available. See Amber the health clerk if you need any PPE. No one is required to wear a mask, but you may, what every you are comfortable with, same applies for all students. 

Unvaccinated are still testing weekly using the provided at home test. You may take what you need. 

I want you to feel supported and safe, so please communicate needs. 


Nuts and Bolts

QR Codes were put in your boxes, please make sure they are hung somewhere by your door so we can scan as we come through to give you some feedback. (We will start in this upcoming week)

The cafeteria serves snacks during recess at the kitchen window, if you have hungry kids, send them there at start or recess.

AFTER SCHOOL DUTY CALANDER FOR THE YEAR

GAGA BALL - GRADES 1,3,5 This week. If they want to play at AM recess send them to the MPR. They must commit and stay for the entire recess, they can not go back and forth. There are benches in there if they want to have a snack first.

8/23- Positive Behavior Team Meeting (Onsite- 2:15-3:15)

8/24- Classified Staff Meeting 1:30-2:30

8/24- ELO Meeting in Room D3 for all interested in teaching ELO afterschool program. At 2:15

8/25- SST Day (Sanci will let you know if you have a meeting)

8/25- Brown meeting 8:30-11

8/25- Fire Drill 1:30

     TESTING STARTS TODAY!                                                Great Things From the Week MARIO MOVIE Getting CASSPP testing ready to go- Thank you to the staff who have prepped all the items as well as Roe and Thornton for all your hard work.  Orenda grade TK/K, 1, 5 and 6. Great job team! Please don't forget you have Buddy Teachers that you are expected to use when you are sending kids to detention, please  see attached. Week 22

                                                Great Things From the Week Last week of Tiger Academy IEP marathon day complete with lots of positive outcomes. Thank you to everyone who helped and participated.  Thank you Jo and Brandy for getting the AVID information planned. We will be setting up Summer Institute on Feb 14. Those who are attending have been notified. CST meetings for Special Education teachers, great job all! Lots of great conversations.  Lots of new students, thank you team for making them feel right at home. See Diana if you need a new agenda planner.  Please don't forget you have Buddy Teachers that you are expected to use when you are sending kids to detention, please  see attached.
